Methodology: As the goal of this program is to maximize young players development, our coaches adopt a player centric approach.
For instance, at the end of camp, to help you continue your progression back home, coaches will give you a personal assessment and your own development plan. Read more As rugby IQ and performance level vary between countries, camp coaches run on the first day of camp a players assessment session. Our coaches then build groups with homogeneous performance level to maximize individual players’ development. This approach allows our coaches to deliver the level of training and of intensity to each of you. |

Extra activities: While this camp is rugby centric and focus on your development, it offers multiple extra options such as fun non rugby activities & French classes. Read more… French lessons: We offer 2 levels of French (standard & intensive) during this camp. While the standard program consists of a 1 hour of lesson per day, the intensive program offers several hours a day (See Related Products). To better prepare yourself and further your progress, this camp includes an e-learning platform access before and after your camp for a period of 3 months. Recreational activities: Along with French classes, you will enjoy multiple extra cultural and sport activities such as beach-volleyball, beach-rugby, lifeguard training… Please check your Welcome Packet or contact us for more information. |

The academy: MHR has a long tradition of youth programs development. Consistently ranking among the top youth programs in France, its academy runs 3 tier-high performance programs for players between the ages of 5 and 22. As of today, 52% of the Elite academy program graduates became Professionals, Olympians or International players.
Coaches: The staff includes world-rugby level 3 coaches, assistant coaches, program supervisor, doctors, physiotherapists as well as both female and male international players such as Gaëlle Mignot, academy scrum’s specialist (5x Elite 1 Champion, 70 caps & National Team Captain, 3x 6 Nations winner- 2 Grand Slam, 2 World Cup – 3rd place in 2017). |
Facilities: The academy is inside MHR Campus where the pros train every day during the TOP14 season. Facilities include, numerous grass pitches, synthetics fields, fitness & wrestling rooms, multiple cloakrooms, videos analysis room, classrooms, TV-room, games room: ping-pong & foosball tables, pétanque, soccer-tennis, badminton…
Accommodation: There are 2 player’s dorms, on campus and we offer several off-campus alternatives.
